Here's a video for the smart stick training aid. I think this is a good trainer for swing plane, but I again suggest a golfer learn how to pivot first, 'educate' the hands next, learn a proper effective grip next, then maybe move onto swing plane.

You can make a similar one at home by taking a laser point pin and hollowing out the but of an old club. Works well. I suppose you could add one to the hozel as well.
