Here's some new videos of my golf swing.
These are some DTL 6-iron swings and the last swing is with a driver (10.5* Cleveland Hi-Bore XLS) off the deck.
Here's a couple of Face On 6-iron swings.
A few things I've been working on are getting more of a pitch elbow position to help maximize trigger delay. And I like what I see in that area:
One of the issues I'm still struggling with is getting a bit above the plane, but it doesn't seem to be an issue with the driver and more with the irons. I believe this is in large part due to the pivot on the backswing.
As you can see, the swing is somewhat short, the shoulder turn lacks some noticeable rotation. This puts me in this position at the top with a 6-iron.
This looks 'laid off' and to a degree it is. Laid off swings cause problems with getting above the plane on the downswing. But with the driver where I utilize more shoulder rotation and pivot in the backswing, the club no longer looks 'laid off.'
So, something to work with as I continue with the exercise program and stretching. I should be getting AimPoint's putting 'Aim Charts' pretty soon and will let you know how those work. Also, I should be getting Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett's 'Stack and Tilt' book this Tuesday or so.
