Jack it may be that Padraig didn't understand this, but the fact remains that he is still one of the best. There's not a right or wrong way to making putts and Padraig just does it his own way.

Pelz says you need to play for more break than you think. But it's not actually breaking more than one thinks, it's where they need to aim in order to get the ball to be on line.
That was a great illustration. I wonder what percent of putters actually know this info. It would help a ton of people hole more putts.

ReplyDeleteWatching Haney teach on the Haney Project, he would just say that you need to play for more break than it looks. I think that's what many pros did.
