Great swings if you like stack and tilt. And not to say that I don't think the action isn't very, very good. I think it would be so much better if it actually looked free. Both of them look manufactured in their move as opposed to really trusting and free wheeling it. It's especially disappointing with his son. Normally kids have great free wheeling swings.
I disagree. He looks pretty free wheeling to me, he just has some important components in tact. His shoulders turn at 90* to the spine. If they didn't, he could free wheel and still be a very good player but eventually he'd want to correct that in order to strike the ball more consistently and that would be tough to change after years of ingraining it incorrectly. He'd also likely turn the shoulders too upright to the spine if he was your typical junior golfer and that could very well cause back issues.
I should know since I had a 'freewheeling' golf swing as a junior as well and it's not fun changing some of those key factors around.
Plus, I'm willing to bet he's one of the best ballstrikers at his age.
Really ..way to go finish 14 th .There are 13 kids in florida ahead of him see the link below. BTW if swings won tournaments life would be great. You can google his name and see his major accomplishments http://berniesgolfermagazine.com/AroundTheCourses.htm

Really? I feel sorry for the kids who have to compete against Osten in the future. The kid works his ass off. Tiger likes to watch him bang balls
